2000 Ford F550 Diesel.

The truck was purchased from Bartow Ford in Florida.  It features a Fontaine conversion bed that adds:

Fiberglass Bed, 25000 pound capacity 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Hitches, 2 Bed Storage Boxes, Rear Air Suspension, 2nd Fuel Tank with Transfer Flow pump.

Dealer added options include Exhaust Brake, Performance Chip and K&N Air Filter.  I added an AMSOIL Dual Remote Oil Filtration System and Synthetic Oil.

The F550 boasts a 30,000 pound GCVWR due to larger drive train components and brakes.

Fifth Wheel:

2003 Newmar Mountain Aire, Model 37RLFB.

The fiver was purchased from Millican America RVs in Alabama.  Options include Full Paint, Dually Wheels, Mor/Ryde Suspension, Electric/Hydraulic Disk Brakes, Thermal Pane Windows, Window Awnings, Slider Toppers, HWH Levelers, Dual 6 volt Batteries, 2nd A/C, Washer/Dryer and 7kw (50 amp) Onan Generator.  We had the carpet replaced with Berber by Newmar (excellent job).

We had the Fiver weighed at the 2003 Goshen Indiana Escapade.  It topped out at 19,400 pounds.  The GCVWR for the Mountain Aire is 20,000 pounds.
